Support and Resources
Connect with real support, practical tools, and community resources that honor the emotional journey of fatherhood. Whether you are a father looking for guidance, a partner wanting to better understand and support the man you love, or a provider searching for culturally responsive materials, this space is designed to help you find support that feels relevant and meaningful.
Research shows that approximately 1 in 10 fathers experience postpartum depression and 5–15% experience significant anxiety during pregnancy or the first year after birth. Many more struggle with sleep deprivation, relationship strain, irritability, and feeling disconnected but do not ask for help. These challenges are common and treatable when they are acknowledged early and addressed with support.
Here you can explore resources on paternal mental health, relationship changes after childbirth, bonding with your baby, stress management, communication strategies, sleep, anxiety, depression, and adjusting to the emotional and practical demands of fatherhood. You can also access printable tools, reflection exercises, coping strategies, provider resources, and links to additional support services.
You can explore New Jersey-specific services and providers that support fathers, partners, and families during the postpartum period.
